lyrics
The feeling is painfully strong
The silence is painfully dead
They say you're out of your mind
Out of your head
You don't know right from wrong
You're ready to play his game
Whatever they think
Whatever they say
Moving against the tide
Whatever his wish, you obey
Patiently breaking yourself
Breaking the waves
You know that it makes him feel better
When you're bleeding and raped on the floor
When they throw the stones
When they call you a whore
Cause you don't know right from wrong
You're ready to play his game
Whatever you think
Whatever you say
Moving against the tide
Whatever his wish, you obey
Patiently breaking yourself
Breaking the waves
If you really love me
Get down with someone else
If you want to save me
That's your chance

I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie

This is the first progressive metal album I've loved in quite some time. Phenomenal songwriting, instrumental virtuosity, and stellar vocal performances make this one of the most unique and strongest releases of 2020. Holdeneye
The Australian instrumental band juxtapose classical pianos and ambient swells with uncompromising, proggy post-metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 9, 2023

If someone were to ask me why I love progressive rock, this album would be one of my examples. It's eclectic; it's beautiful; it's sufficiently complex; and its cover art is cool. Soul Doubt does one hell of a great job of reprising the album's themes and building atmosphere and emotion throughout the >100 minute affair. And the cherry on top of it all is that there are no middling or superfluous songs--which is impressive because double albums usually have some amount of filler.
Magnifico!
